Owner and Design Principal of G Studio Interior Consultancy

Huay Ling had a full time job for close to five years before deciding to quit her job to continue with her studies. Her interests and passion for Interior Designing leads her to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture with Raffles Design Institute.

“The school syllabus was not only very well developed but also useful and related to the industry. I had gained more knowledge and deeper understanding into the operation of fieldwork. The whole study had strengthened my skill in conceptualisation and presentation of different projects. As interior design is not merely designing a space but is designing a space that fits the client’s lifestyle and in meanwhile having a touch of designer’s own statement.”

With my previous working experience and knowledge gained from the School, along with encouragements from friends and family, I decided to set up my own Interior Design firm- G Studio Interior Consultancy, which more focuses on residential projects. The company is hopefully ready to go for commercial projects in few years time.”
